Parker Brown Parker Brown Miller County is proud to present Parker Brown as FFA Member of the Week.

Parker is currently in the 12th grade at Miller County High School and is the son of Michael and Sharyn Brown of Colquitt.

Parker has been an FFA officer for two years and is currently serving as the vice president. Parker’s Supervised Agriculture Experience ( SAE) is in Turf Grass Management and Greenhouse Management. Parker has competed in many Career Development Events ( CDE) such as Meats Evaluation, Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, and Poultry Judging. Parker has also participated in many other FFA events such as Greenhand Jamboree, Success Conference, State FFA Convention, National FFA Convention, Beast Feast, Veterans Appreciation Dinner, Fruit Sale fundraiser, and the Pork Chop plate sale.

Parker has received the following FFA rewards: second place in state for Turfgrass Management two years in a row, Greenhand Degree, and Chapter Degree. His agriculture education includes Basic Agriscience, Plant Science, Animal Science and Agriculture Leadership.

Outside of FFA, Parker is a member of the Miller County High School Golf team and is a member of the Beta Club. After high school, Parker plans to go to college at Louisiana State University and obtain a master’s degree in history.
