Beginning April 17th, the Colquitt/Miller Arts Council brings to the Cotton Hall stage 9- to-5: The Musical. Based on the 1980 movie, and featuring a jubilant, high-energy score by Dolly Parton, 9 to 5: The Musical is a hilarious tale of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy—giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

“9-to-5 brings a little variety to Cotton Hall,” says CMAC Artistic Director Kate Willis. “It’s different from what our audiences are used to, a little edgier, but still relatable and very funny.

The Boss may have chewed off more than he can handle with these three ladies. The Boss may have chewed off more than he can handle with these three ladies. Our cast is incredibly talented, and features some familiar faces fans will recognize as well as new talents they’ll love.”

9-to-5: The Musical runs Friday, April 17th through Sunday, April 26th, with showings Fridays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 2:00 and 5:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:00 PM. There is some mild language and adult content in this production, so a PG-13 rating is suggested.

Tickets are $15 and are available by calling the box office at 229-758-5450 or online at www.swampgravy.com.
