Libraries – Books and More!

When you think of libraries you generally think of books. Librarians read the reviews, buy the books, organize them so you can find them and check them out. Additionally libraries have expanded to offer music, movies, special displays, children’s programs, computer use, deposit collections, services for the blind and handicapped, genealogy research, and meeting space. To avail yourself of any or all of these services, just go to the library and check it out. It’s a public place and public service is what libraries are all about. So don’t delay, get your library card and see what your library has to offer you, your family or group today. The Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library is located at 259 East Main Street, Colquitt, Georgia. The phone number is (229) 758-3131.
