The Sizzling Dawg Shack officially cut the ribbon for their new business, which has already been open for a few weeks.

Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Robert McIntosh, welcomed everyone to the ribbon cutting and wished the new business owners must success. He also extended the chamber’s help in any way needed.

Representing the City of Colquitt, Mayor Jerry Chapman also expressed his sincere appreciation for yet another eating establishment in the city. He offered the city’s help.

Jewel Worsley, speaking on behalf of the Downtown Development Authority, told the new owner how appreciative she was that people would continue to open businesses in Colquitt and wished him much success.

The new business, owned by Mike Waters, is located at 208 West Main Street. The menu includes chili dogs, slaw dogs, smoked sausage dogs, burgers, french fries and drinks. He and wife, Suzy, invite everyone to come by and try one of their hodogs!

They are open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They also deliver within the city limits. You can call ahead at 220-3547, and it’ll be ready when you get there.

The new owner says, “My goal is to open another one in a neighboring county if things continue the way they are going now.”
