Law Enforcement Report

Dog Bite

On May 21, Wadene Calhoun advised that a dog had bitten her. Officer Dale Glover observed a white male dog in the yard and asked if that was the dog. Calhoun stated that it was and that the dog belonged to the neighbor next door. The dog and the injury to the victim's leg were photographed. The injury consisted of the skin being broken and a small bruise on the lower part of the left calf. Heather Cox, who is the owner of the dog, was advised to keep the animal pinned up. Officer Glover advised both parties if there were any medical bills that Cox would be responsible.

On May 19, Morris Larome Speight was traveling south on Grady Cobb Road when the vehicle struck a deer head-on.
