Larceny - Bicycle

On July 9, Officer Greg Richey responded to South Third Street in reference to a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival, Officer Richey spoke with Coya Sharrod Miller concerning the incident. Miller informed Officer Richey that someone had stolen his son's bicycle from their yard. Miller stated that the bicycle was at the residence at 12:00 on the previous night. He then advised that at 10:00 a.m. on July 9 when he woke up, he noticed that the bike was missing. The bike was described as a 24-inch blue and silver Mongoose.

Larceny - Gas Drive-Off

On July 9, Officer Greg Richey responded to the Kangaroo Express in reference to a gas drive-off. Upon arrival, Officer Richey spoke with the clerk, Jeanie Marie Sheffield, concerning the incident. Sheffield stated that the owner of the vehicle, described as an older white male, parked at pump number two to pump gas. He then entered the store and said that he was paying with a credit card but could not get it to work. She then informed him to go ahead and pump the gas and then come back in to pay for it. After the man pumped the gas, Sheffield stated that she noticed the truck pulling away from the gas pump. The vehicle was described as a white Ford F-150, extended cab pickup truck. Sheffield was unable to get a tag number or direction of travel on the vehicle.
